Since June 1, 2020: My Son sanctuary will discount entrance fees while Hoi An city will revive tour guide activities for tourists after closing due to Covid-19 pandemic (according to Dantri.com.vn).

Specifically, a group of 3 or more people visiting My Son relic will get a 30% discount of total admission fees or a 50% discount if the group of visitors who own a family record books issued by Quang Nam province.
Pupils and students will get a 50% discount of total group tickets but service charges of 30.000 vnd/ person will be applied. Pupils under 16 years old will be admitted for free.
For a group of 10 or more people will have a free tour guide and take photos with Cham dancers at a performance theatre after the performance.
Besides, there will be a 10% discount for visitors who buy souvenirs at souvenir shops in My Son sanctuary from June 1 to September 1, 2020.
From June 1, Hoi An city will revive tour guide activities for tourists in Hoi An ancient town, Tra Que vegetable village and Thanh Ha pottery village. Before now, Hoi An city reopened some tourist spots such as Chua Cau pagoga (Bridge pagoda), Chua Ong pagoda (Quan Cong temple),… for free entrance from April 29. Moreover, some surroundings of the ancient town such as Thanh Ha pottery village, Tra Que vegetable village, Cam Thanh nipa forest reopened free admission fee to all visitors from April 29.

Hue city
On May 8th 2020: Thua Thien Hue province discounts 50% of entrance fee of relic sites from May 8th to July 31th, 2020 to stimulate tourism demand and to recover tourism development affected by Covid-19.

Royal Palace Dai Noi -Hue city
In the morning May 8, 2020, at the 8th extraordinary session, the seventh Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee approved a resolution about tourism promotion policy in order to recover and develop tourism that has been affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
50% discount on admission fee of relic sites in Hue city shall be applied from May 8th to July 31th, 2020. After this period, this policy shall continue or not depending on tourism market recovery, but the discount rate shall not be higher than 50%.
Besides, Hue city shall link to Da Nang city and Quang Nam province to create promotion packages, preferential tours connecting the center of Vietnam.
Furthermore, Hue city shall increase free performances at Hue Citadel as well as focus on developing and organizing high quality, attractive events and festivals such as Hue Festival 2020, Hue festival- Cuisine Capital, Hue festival – Ao Dai Capital.

Hue city

Royal Palace Dai Noi -Hue city
All hictorical relics sites and cultural landscape in Hue city such as Royal Palace Dai Noi, Khai Dinh tomb, Minh Mang tomb, Tu Duc tomb will reopen at 07:00 am on April 30, 2020 after temporarily closing from 17:30 on March 14 due to Covid-19.
Specially, 100% free admission to visit Royal Palace Dai Noi and relic sites managing by Hue Monuments Conservation Center from April 30 to May 7, 2020 in order to boost tourism according to the statement of Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho on April 29.

In order to be safe in pandemic prevention, visitors are required to comply with the following rules: measuring body temperatures before visiting, wearing face masks, antiseptic hand washing and limiting a group over 30 people.
Besides, business locations, wholesale and retail, lotteries, hotels and other accommodation facilities, and restaurants, sport training facilities, lottery, gym, dancing, billiard, yoga resumed. However, swimming at the beach will be forbidden until at the end of May 3, 2020.
Hoi An town

Free admission when visiting an old town and some tourists sites (Bridge Pagoga, Pagoda Ong,…) in Hoi An ancient town on an occasion of the festival April 30 and May 1, according to the written statement of Hoi An city People’s Committee on April 29, 2020.
Besides, many areas outside of the ancient town such as Thanh Ha pottery village, Tra Que vegetable village, Cam Thanh water coconut forest will open free admission for visitors.
However, Hoi An city still halts some cultural activities, entertainment to prevent Covid-19 pandemic, according to Quang Nam province’s directive such as: bar, disco, public internet services, electronic games, karaoke, massage, theater, movie theater.
Lam Dong province
From April 23, 2020, People Committee of Lam Dong province allowed tourist sites, landscapes, night markets… to resume provided that pandemic prevention measures are deployed.

Since April 25, Tourist activities, hotel and other accommodation facilities, food services are allowed to resume. However, festival activities, karaoke, massage, bar,… continue to halt until April 30, 2020, according to the statement of Chairman of Kien Giang Provincal People’s Committee Pham Vu Hong. But tourist agents and tourist sites are just allowed to receive local guests and resident foreigners in Vietnam to visit.
Guest boats from the mainland to the islands of Kien Giang province are allowed to operate with the frequency of 2 trips a day and vice versa.
For Phu Quoc island, hotels, resorts, restaurants are allowed to be receive guests. Local airlines are allowed to operate 2 flights a day to transport passengers from and to the island. Ensuring safety on flights needs to comply with safe pandemic prevention regulations.
Cao Bang province
Special national relic sites in Cao Bang province reopened from April 24, 2020.

Quang Nam province
My Son sanctuary reopened since April 28.
All visitors must comply with pandemic prevention measures such as wearing face masks, keeping distance when visiting.
Resorts, hotels, guest houses, homestay are allowed to receive tourists from localities which are a low risk group. Outdoor tours are less than 10 people a tour.
Binh Thuan province
Binh Thuan province has re-started tourism activities since April 27.
